The International Finance Corporation’s Somalia Investment Academy

The International Finance Corporation’s Somalia Investment Academy (SOMINA), in partnership with Strathmore University Business School (SBS) – Nairobi 13 May 2024– convened professionals from across Somalia. The initiative was inaugurated by Ambassador Jabril Ibrahim Abdulle, Somalia’s Ambassador to Kenya.

Critical knowledge for navigating the investment landscape in the Horn of Africa were enabled. Essential aspects of investing in developing markets, with a specific focus on the opportunities and challenges present in Somalia and Somaliland.
